The number of women drivers is increasing day by day. It is the necessities and the increased pressures on women to work and to manage their homes that they are learning driving to get independent enough to move around and to carry on their day to day tasks.
There has been a constant debate about the driving of women versus men since women have started driving vehicles on roads. According to various researches and studies conducted to compare the driving of men and women, it has been found that women have proven themselves to be more cautious than men on the road.
Different statistics show that men are twice likely to die in car accidents on the road as compared with women. But it does not mean that men are not good drivers as compared with women. Studies have also shown that women are more likely to do minor crashes as compared with men. Also it is a fact that women do not cover more miles and take shorter trips as compared with men due to which they are less prone to have accidents. It has also been found as a result of number of researches that a large number of men opt to drive when they are drunk. Also men do not mind taking phone calls and doing text messages when they are on the road. However, women are very cautious when they are driving; very few women have been found to drive when they are drunk. Also women are more focused towards road when they are driving as compared with men.
Despite of many studies and researches to find out who is better and who is not, the fact is that everyone whether it is a woman or a man can be a better driver if they keep themselves focused on the road.
